I've spent much of my summer adorned in a DIY hair wreath, but it seemed fitting during wedding season to pay tribute to the one that started it all: the white version I wore to my own nuptials.
Floral crowns have a lot of historical and religious significance. My reasons for one, though, are a little less weighty, as I have spent much of my life adoring the costumes from the 1994 version of "Little Women" (and, well, basically this proposal scene would explain a lot of my current aesthetic).
Though it's from a craft store and is very rarely worn, it's reverently held a place in my closet and memories.
