Okay, so my title has nothing to do with the horror movie, but hey, it's my favorite month, and I'm paying homage to it by keeping most of my titles autumn/Halloween-related.
To celebrate October (and the nice weekend weather), Jeremiah and I spent Sunday at the flea market and Washington Farms. Didn't get any photos of the flea market (though I'll post our finds soon!), but we did have a great time at the farm. I had never been to a corn maze before, and hadn't been to a pumpkin patch since I was a toddler, so it was really exciting for me. We had so much in all the country cheesiness, from the corn maze to the pumpkin patch, to the pumpkin slingshot, pig races and petting zoo.

Trying out the pumpkin slingshot. Jeremiah hit the target and won a free snack.
The tunnel was a funhouse that was dark inside and had a rotating tunnel that made the room look like it was moving around you. Pretty fun stuff.
How was your weekend?
Awww, the photo of you both is so sweet! So, this is what you wore to your special date, it couldn't be more perfect!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I've been so so busy lately. I love the e-mail you sent me, I feel like I'm getting a briefing binder, like what the Minister would get for updates on the state's affair.
One I thing I can say though, I've missed ya!

I love these photos of you! especially where you're higing behind the corn!
ReplyDeleteI never knew children of the corn was a horror film. there's a joke in one of the Adama and joe podcasts about children of the corn on the cob and I never really got it, but now it makes some sense!
I love your dress! It looks like such a great time! I love pumpkin patches, and I run near cornfields regularly!
ReplyDeleteMy weekend was full of football, running, and grading papers at a coffee shop with a good friend.
I love all these pictures! You and Jeremiah are so cute. And what a darling fall outfit!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had so much fun. I love pumpkin patches. I can't wait to take my boys in a couple of weeks.

ReplyDeleteaw what a fun day! you guys are such a cute couple!
ReplyDeletealso that is a lovely dress!
It sounds like you had a lovely weekend. I esepcially enjoyed your pictures of the oversized turkey, and I can't wait to read about your flea market finds. My BF and I discovered a fabulous town with great consignment stores. $30 for a pair of pants, a dress, and three shirts -- all NWT!
ReplyDeleteMiles and I love pumpkin patches! Love the pink dress! Looks kind of gingham-y with the boots.. Perfect for a farm :)
ReplyDeleteThose photos are amazing! I love your dress too, it's so pretty. It looks especially great with the boots!
ReplyDeleteDid you pick any corn to take home? Picking corn from the farm always tastes the best!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in these shots - I love the boots!
My weekend was good. I probably spent 15 or more hours blogging and reading blogs. It was great. I got all caught up. I had about 800 unread posts. Also I started following about 10 new people too. Oh I didn't really do anything else besides what I blogged about. Fridays off work are great... more time to blog.
ReplyDeleteI so want to go apple and pumpkin picking like all you bloggers, but I don't know where to start! Looks like such a fun day though!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun but, corn fields scare me. I would totally be rocking boots like that as I ran away!
