How I've worn the shorts:
here.
One of my coworkers, A., asked me what I wore during my off-time. We all have to wear black at work, so it's a little bit of a thrill to see a coworker in normal clothes when she comes to the store on her off day and feel like you understand her a little bit better. I told A. that I wore dresses all the time, and she laughed. "What, do you go to church all the time or something?" Um, not really. It always amuses me when people think I'm overly dressed up during my off days, because I've gotten so used to it.
I decided to experiment Monday night with the few separates I do have. Maybe it's a little bit of leftover patriotism from July 4th, but I really like the juxtaposition of the feminine royal blue top and the practical khakis.
I love you in this color! Great casual outfit... I love your dresses but it is nice to see you mixing it up, too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit! I love everything about that top, too!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking, oh look, no dress! I love that it's your thing though, but it is exciting to see you rock something else, especially this gorgeous blue!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a pretty top! I'm loving the colour! x

ReplyDeleteMy current workplace doesn't get dresses either. One of my co-workers brought a dress she'd bought into work to get opinions, and every single person asked her "but what is it FOR?". I wanted to burst out DRESSES ARE AWESOME EVERRRRRY DAY. NO OCCASION NEEDED. haha
pst! are those my shorts? i'd like them back if you have them or at least tell me where you put them. love your sister.
ReplyDelete-p.s i'm a little hurt that you're not following my blog yet.

ReplyDeleteI love the color of this top! I'm constantly accused of dressing up too much, too. Oy. I roll with it.
