Dress: Nick and Mo, Filene's Basement, NYC;
Trench: Banana Republic;
Blue camisole: Aeropostale;
Shoes: Naturalizer.
How I've worn the dress before: here.
It rained apocalyptically today, and it was more than my allergies could have dreamed about, though I was seriously afraid my car (as well as other parts of the neighborhood) was going to just float away in the water. It was that bad. These photos were taken during the break after the storm.
So about this outfit. This dress is definitely what I would designate an "autumn " dress, and because it's been too warm to wear tights and boots, I was a little at a loss at what shoes to wear with it. I ended up going for practicality and wore these Naturalizers, which I haven't worn in two years, but they fully covered my feet and were weather proof. I ended up liking the result, because the red shoes remind me of the kind of flats I would've worn as a kid, which put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
37 down, eight to go.
P.S. This is way belated, but not forgotten and certainly really appreciated. Thank you to Caffeinerd, Big Beautyful Mess and Schoolmarm Style for the blog awards!
